Do you recycle mattresses, or does everything go to landfill?
More than 80% of materials are recycled through licensed partners, foam, metal springs and fabric are separated and sent to certified recycling centres. Landfill is only ever the last resort.
Is mattress disposal ever free in Dublin?
Not through a private collection service. Dublin City Council occasionally runs limited bulky waste collection days in certain areas, and civic amenity centres charge a small gate fee and require your own transport. For year-round doorstep collection, there's a fair, transparent charge.
What if my mattress is wet, stained or damaged?

Yes, the wider Dublin area is covered, including Clondalkin, Lucan, Tallaght, Swords and surrounding counties.
Can you take a mattress along with other rubbish in the same visit?
Yes, general junk, old furniture or garden waste can all be collected in the same visit, just mention it when you send your photo.
